Correction: The Tsukihime manga was 10 volumes, and DrMaster only released 6 of them before they went under.

We've known about the remake for years. The only "news" is that we got a look at some redrawn character artwork a few days ago.
The article makes it seem as though the remake was only just announced. |

That's nice that the old material is getting remade. The gap between the generations from when the game was created to today can turn away potential new fans. Maybe they'll include voice work as well? Or remake another VNs in the future? If a Fate/stay night remake will ever be announced, some people will die from over-excitement.
The anime ran for 1 cour. |

But they announced that they were remaking it years ago... there was a pv at the TM 10th anniversary event.
it's just the first time we've gotten more new designs outside of Arc, Ciel and Satsuki |

Both Fate/stay night and Fate/hollow ataraxia have had console versions released not long ago. I think that's as far as they'll go with a "remake" for it. |

Ports. But because they just did those, I would think a remake isn't likely anytime soon. Maybe for Fate's 20th anniversary... |
