Trailers aren't always representative of the final product but I knew Bryce wasn't going to work as Shirō, my god Aniplex made a huge mistake with that.
But worst of all no Liam O'Brien (aka the one and only Archer), I don't even know how to process that. He's a much bigger presence in the UBW route and not having Liam back is really going to hurt. 
At least most of the cast remains intact and I'm really glad to see Tony Oliver back for Lancer, he definitely nails the part. |

From the little we hear, Kirei sounds pretty good and Lancer might be just fine too but everyone else is so terrible it makes me cringe.

Normally, I never regard trailers as an indication of how a show is actually going to sound but...man, Bryce Papenbrook just doesn't seem to fare so well as Shirou.

they did a great job with the fate/Zero, brought out a lot of veterans to make it come together. The only worthwhile VA they brought back is Kari Wahlgren and Crispin Freeman, and he doesn't play a big part. Bryce Papenbrook makes Shirou sound even worse than before, and adding Todd Haberkorn really warrants it as unwatchable.

This sounds overacted and miscast. Shirou and Rin are too high-pitched and don't sound severe enough, especially Rin who sounds more like a magical girl than a proper magus. The script isn't helping with lines like "say your prayers" and "ready or not".

Jesus this sounds bad......its like, they are trying to reenact the seriousness of the situation but ends up sounding superficial, this level of acting is only good for fooling little kids.

Not bad. Could be better, but overall not bad.
Just throw in Carnival Phantasm then I will buy it. C'mon! That's the only thing I care about anymore. |
