And more anime adaptions even movie or OVAs for City Hunter and Angel Heart will be more than welcomed to me Smile

saw Angel Heart and all the city hunter series 2-3 weeks back....

honestly.. i like Angel Heart better.. so looking forward to this series

Family Compo might be my favorite work by the man. Fun to hear other people also enjoying it! Very Happy
As for City Hunter, I love it as well but often find myself preferring the anime.

As much as I would love a Family Compo anime, I'm unsure as to if it would survive a modern adaption intact.
Although released in '97, it to me often feels slightly older than that, let's say early 90's with maybe a hint of late 80's thrown in.

This might just be me, but that is one of the key points that make it so enjoyable. Also, the visual style is quite far from contemporary, not sure it could be pulled off in a pleasing way.
