This seems to be the only series of Tanemura's that Viz hasn't licensed. I'm guessing because of the age gap thing?

Not just the age gap, but the cousins thing too. It's a double whammy that is likely making Viz and any other interested licensors wary.

considering there are states that allow cousin marriages, that would be the same as not wanting to publish a manga because there are same-sex couples in it,even though the law acknowledge them and protect them these days...
and besides,if you don't like seeing cousin couples in manga, you have no business being a manga publisher at all, because it's not uncommon seeing them.

These seems a bit unusual for me since they have licensed GL/BL titles. To me, these seem more controversial than a straight cousin shipping.

This is the only manga of her's (recently) that I haven't had a chance to pick-up. I hope Viz will localize it, regardless of content. There's some questionable stuff in plenty of the manga coming out now, so they may as well go for it, lol. (And I do mean manga being localized.)

A this point, BL/GL pretty much is not.

Oddly enough, one of the two Tanemura shikishi on display at the Viz Media booth at both Anime Expo and SDCC was from Nekoto...

I'm guessing they're waiting to see how this ends before deciding to license it. Not that that surprises me. Remember when Viz released Sensual Phrase(Kaikan Phrase)? Yeah, they took on a bit more than they could chew with that. Loved how each book would end with some afterword about how Aine's relationship wasn't healthy or some other garbage PSA. Reminded me of the 'Sailor Says' segments at the end of the SM DC dub.

But there's so much truth in it. When it comes to "unhealthy relationships", Shinjo is QUEEN and that's why I never touch anything she writes. She disgusts me so much. >_> I'm convinced that not only does she hate consent, she actually hates her own gender.
