Usually by revealing these characters, I would end up saying I'm worried that they're rushing content. But honestly, what content is there to rush in this series? Laughing

Starting to get crowded. I think this the first time i've ever seen Lala's neck before. It's from my foggy memory, never been shown in the Manga.

From the looks of it, Lala seems to be the most bashful of the monsters; however, that isn't to say that she isn't lethal with her scythe in hand.

They've been pacing the manga fairly well so far and Rachnea is pretty late into the series so this makes me wonder if there's still a chance that it'll exceed the usual 12 episode chunks? Maybe not but I can sure hope (especially if they're planning on adding the latest girl)

I take it you have not read the manga.

With it being a monthly comic, you can make the chapters longer and thus potentially make it a 24-episode series. Given the series success, I would be surprised if a 2nd season didn't happen 2-3 seasons from now. Of course, MAl may be wrong.

That is, last fall a site mentioned Grisai as being 24 episodes but I don't know if they were counting both TV seasons.

Wow, that's a lot more content than I thought this season would cover. It makes me wonder how they're going to do it. I pray that everything turns out ok.

It's just too bad that the series isn't far enough along to have enough content to get a second season. Honestly, if they paced season one correctly and waited about a year, they could make just enough for a second season.

Either way, excited to see Lala and Kii!

Well if they continue at their 2 chapters per episode pace. They should just get through Lala with no problems.

In the official site for the anime, there is a listing [there are NSFW images] for the home-media release volume #6 (release date February 2016), which will contain episodes #11-12. It doesn't state that this volume will be the last, but there aren't any listing for additional volumes, either.

Man that's a lot of characters. I can express the concern but we can also say this about the manga as well. It's like saying how many species can OKAYADO come up with? And the house keeps getting bigger and bigger. Hell, I haven't even read that far yet. But I think this is the thing to get people to pick up the book. So get that anime tie in.

I surprised that Lala is even going to make an appearance. Unless they plan on cutting a lot of chapters or have another cour planned,I can't see it being paced well.

I'm pretty surprised by this. I thought that the pace would be perfect if they stopped at Rachnee, but now it appears that its going to end with Lala being introduced to the household. Idk, I don't think 12 episodes will be enough. We shall see.
