Oh sure, cute girls exercising- and just that I guess- fine but then why add the "I want to be an Idol" plot? Any kind of story will just get in the way of the point.
Anime: Not just running out of ideas, not even bothering with them anymore. Or they could go all out and do a club thing where five girls with different goals come together to exercise. But that would take... effort? Something like that. |

A lot of rookies, then you have Asami being voiced by Yuriko from Million Live and Eri being voiced by Sanae from Cinderella Girls. The anime itself should be pretty good though.
