It feels like it's been forever since the first episode. And damn, even renting it on Daisuki was expensive (6 bucks for each language track, FFS). Unless they lower the price, there's no way I'm spending money on the physical release. Part 1 was excellent, but it was also only around an hour long. I learned my lesson about spending 50+ bucks on an hour's content from Unicorn. Again, a good anime, but just too pricey.

A lot of the Ocean talent group has been working on MLP and they haven't done a lot of anime in years.

You'd think I'd be in the target audience for this, since I pre-order all the hardcover volumes of the manga months and months in advance... but not at these prices.

(Of course, I'm sure I'll spend this much on Ex-Standard kits this year, so whatever.)

Yes he was. They had the Battle of Loum in the beginning with an adult Char piloting his red Zaku.

I know that I had no basis to be worried, but I am very glad to see confirmation for the dubbing of part 2. I am concerned that this OVA is not selling well because Sunrise/Right Stuff decided to offer the expensive special edition when they SHOULD HAVE also offered the standard BD edition, which is half the price.

If you do not want to buy the $100 sets, import the standard BD editions from Japan. The disc for part 1 has the dub and it cost me around $50 (including shipping).

Uh... Isn't Tom Wayland a sex offender? Was this recorded before or after he was revealed to be harassing women at conventions? I guess he was never officially prosecuted or convicted of it.

Its not because the talent is working on other shows like MLP that they haven't been in anime in years(well they do some kids anime sometimes). Its because the studios aren't using them. Bandai & Geneon are done and with Viz it seems like Studiopolis replaced Ocean for them.
