I really hope this season will improve...

At least the theme song is somewhat catchy. Somehow, I have a feeling they may go with an anime original ending but we'll see.

Not very good combines the op, but it is fripside that is automatically downloaded, and love for the band.
Good animation looks superior and hope it is not only in the trailers, but also has the detail that the first season also started with a nice animation after it was falling miserably showing that they do not have consistency.
So he finished the first temp I was reading the manga and in fact I'm very cool, you have a lot more fights and twist plot will really be nice to see it animated, the question is whether this time they will be able to maintain the level from start to finish, (which Personally think it will not happen because owari only profit more in the manga, anime sales are weak, not worth investing in a good animation in it, of course I know that when the manga gets boost a profit of little goes to the studio but does not pay)
Ie will see and a little bit of hope because of the story, because the animation can not trust.

Looks awesome.

Really glad they took the time to do it in split cours, even if we had to wait a whole season.

Oh I really the actual animation budget went into this half, looks like it so far, so colorful! ^^

Don't trailers usually only show parts from like the first 2-3 episodes to avoid spoilers? There were like 9 chapters worth of stuff in there and I'm still wondering if it's going to be a bit rushed in the beginning in order to actually get the battle of Nagoya bit. (And probably an anime original ending seeing as that arc isn't finished yet).

This is going to be really bias. But to me this already looks better than season 1. Because I'm a sucker for fripside.

It wouldn't take much to improve on season 1, writing-wise.

everyone was expecting that for the 1st season but they went with the manga.

as for season 2, it will definitely depend on whether or not its completely faithful towards the manga.

though what surprised me is that the guren prequel novel haven't gotten an OVA version considering that attack of titan's no regrets prequel got an ova version.

not to mention that Owari no Seraph haven't gotten an AS broadcast. they cant keep reshowing old eps of attack of titan constantly while waiting for season 2 .

For both of those, I would say give it some time. I can definitely see a series of OVAs for the novels eventually (maybe after the first volume is released in the states and becomes even more popular).

Honestly I'd prefer it to stay off of AS considering just how bad the dub was...

true enough, but that is if it becomes popular. and unfortunately considering that AOT is still around, its highly unlikely.

i wouldnt go that far.

sure its no attack of titan, but its definitely not bad at all. Also as an action/shounen based series,it fits to a tee for Adult Swim's viewers since people will get tired of AOT reruns.

while having touma's VA as Yu leaves something to be desired at times, it does fit to a tee even though byrce would have made a better Yu instead.

and to be frank , this dub probably would have been better like this cause if viz had licensed the series instead of funi, ya better believe that they would probably had used the entire code geass cast for this series with bosch & lowenthal voicing Yu and mika respectally which would give some of those dub haters all the reason to go on a tear.
