Wow that was surprisingly nice. But this is coming from someone with no familiarity with the series.

The people who tend to complain about English adaptations of anime aimed at kids haven't a leg to stand on with this. They translated the Japanese intro for Yokai Watch into English.

This song is about as bad as kid's show songs can get, but that's kind of par for the course. I can see kids getting into it: the "Gera Gera Po~" bit is undeniably catchy.

*applauds* I'm surprised it's not 30 seconds(you know who you are), but just sung in english. I'm okay with that. Sounds good, too.

Gotta give it to them on that. The first opening was pretty much trash but translating the general feeling of the original opening is a wise move. It gives the show way more personality than the first one.

Oh...What a heart-warming surprise! Surprised
Finally, an opening that remains intact in English.
It's a performance that's worthy of five stars. My sincere thanks to Level-5/Bandai for doing this.

I'm pretty surprised they did that. Or rather, I'm pretty surprised the network let them do that. Rumor has it that even 4Kids had once intended to use an English-translated "We Are" for One Piece--it is the only known English-language version of the song to exist--but for whatever reason, went with the infamous rap.

It helps that this intro isn't some J-pop song tied up like a mummy in rights and legal fees.

Like both this song and the one they used previously. Both sound catchy to my ears. Hope the best for the show and the game.

Eh, the song's okay. The only memorable thing is the refrain.

They'd be trying to recapture what the first English OP theme song did for Pokemon.

Uh, Funimation made two other English versions of the same song, y'know. (One was used as an insert song in the broadcast version of a Skypiea episode right after 4Kids lost the show and the other was the actual opening to season 1.)

I liked the "Gera Gera Po" portions of the song. I didn't care for pretty much everything else. Especially the rapping guy. It reminded me too much of the gospel-esque singer for the "Cardcaptors" dub opening.
