There's already Speculation that she's Sean's Sister or maybe even his Mother. I think making her his Mother would be really interesting, especially if Sean ends up in the Game as either a release or DLC character. It would be similar to the way Johnny Cage and Cassie have stuff in MK-X |

Street Fighter characters are supposed to be ethnic and racial caricatures, not meant to be serious in any matter. Laura is supposed to be a sassy strong woman from Brazil, there's nothing wrong with her showing skin if she's confident in her body. Not all female SF characters are inherently sexual, Makoto is covered up is a loose outfit, Karin shows no skin except for her face, Chun-li wears a tight outfit, but she always has since the original games so it's her signature outfit. Some characters choose to dress sultry, specifically Poison who is a man/women confident in his/her body. Cammy doesn't wear a lot because it shows off her tattoos which are part of her character. C.Viper wears a pantsuit with a few buttons undone on the blouse. The men are exploited just as much if we want to be fair, almost all are ripped guys who either wear sleeveless shirts or no shirt at all. Also Capcom needs to make money, and changing the staple characters appearances isn't gonna move copies. Rufus, Birdie and Blanca are about the only characters who have ever been "Ugly" and even then Blanca is ripped as hell. Also Gamer Gate has nothing to do with the depiction of female characters. GamerGate had to do with the personal attacks on a female developer in relation to supposedly paying for reviews and flirting with reviews for a higher score, not a female game character looking attractive. There are plenty of games with "Unattractive" and normal female characters. Most important Games are a fantasy, so the characters can be a fantasy dream of the character, in most cases a young male, so the ideal female character is an attractive one. |

Question to those in the Know in regards to Competitive Pro Gaming, Do you think any of these new characters introduced will see some action in the pro-circuit, if so which ones do you think will see the most use amongst the new fighters?

I'm not as tapped into SF as i used to be but i can tell you what i've heard floating around. Necali is hard to tell because he's being changed here and there still, Rashid has some stuff but it's unclear and Laura's a grapple so...Still we'll need a lot of the pros to get their hands on these guys before we can really say for sure if any of them hold weight. |

A Ju-jitsu fighter is an interesting addition. Heck, she looks an awful lot of fun to play as. Squaring up to be an excellent game!
