Super disappointed that IBO is being dubbed in LA. Why aren't companies taking advantage of the lower dollar and sending projects to Vancouver?

It's good that there's so much Gundam coming down the pike. I really hope we get the Zeta Gundam Blu-Rays over here, because they look gorgeous and make a huge difference versus the DVDs. I just hope they use the improved subtitles from the re-release double-disc sets.

Bang Zoom's dub of Gundam F91 was pretty solid, I hope they can do as good or better with the new Gundam series.

The Origin is sure to stay super-expensive, though. I learned my lesson with Unicorn, to wait until everything is out before you buy the whole thing. They really screwed me with those last two volumes' prices. I'll just rent The Origin on Daisuki for the time being.

I generally associate Gundam with Canada due to most of them getting dubbed over there. And it's odd to go for Bang Zoom when they've used NYAV for the last two to get dubbed (Unicorn and Origin)

Darn, I was really hoping that IBO would have been dubbed by NYAV (which I like for their quality and bi-coastal casting), but Bang Zoom's certainly not bad, either (I assume NYAV costs more?). I sure hope they offer dubs for the GBF series, which are pretty accessible for non-fans and far better than their collective premise suggests (liked the first series more than the second, which I'm halfway through, but the latter's still good).

Have they said what format any of these are going to be released in? I'm hoping that some of the newer ones and the movie trilogy get blu-ray releases but I'm not holding my breath.

What exactly is wrong with Bang Zoom? All of their dubs that I have heard I think are great.

I can't wait, about time Canada didn't dub a Gundam TV series. It was really repetitive.

Uh, Bang Zoom's track record is pretty damn well received. I see FUNimation get MUCH more hate.

I've actually gotten equally as tired with LA and Texas dubs so it works both ways. You'll still get an equal amount of blatant VA reuse.

I wonder if Sunrise will commission dubs for Victory and X, since they're doing it for their other titles?
