Oh, man, that's another blow dealt to Ms. Takabe not long after her initial arrest. Now she's really screwed. No other talent agency is going to want to hire her with this sort of information out in public.

She was caught with cocaine (as stated in the previous article) and she was tested positive for cocaine use. Knowing the harsh Japanese social ramifications on (illegal) drug use, we can safety presume her career as an actor is most likely gone.

I cannot understand why they would do these things. When being a celeb, or even just a voice actor, these things will do you harm. Your entire career is over =(...
Many have watched awesome shows by these seiyuus and voice actors, and the minute something like this happens, you can't help but wonder, "Why do they do these things?"

Especially when you know the extreme conditions of the Japanese entertainment industry.

The solution to make sure they're clean of illegal drugs is to give them ample time to sleep and a few mental health days a year. It's terrible to see your favorite talent exhausted, overworked, and sleep deprived.

Really? It's easy to see why. Being a celebrity and keeping up your popularity can be incredibly stressful. To deal with it, sometimes these people either turn to drugs or alcohol, or in extreme cases suicide, in less extreme cases it causes family problems or behavioral problems etc.
We don't know her circumstances, so I'd lean more towards sympathy, though at the same time, such charges do have to stick and she's still responsible for it.
