Aww, so this manga is coming to an end...
One of the more underrated series imo. I hope this one day gets an anime adaptation but seems unlikely at the moment. Easily 2-3 cour though if any studio is interested.

I've actually been considering trying this series. It sounds interesting, but I can't really seem to find any depth review about it. Does it stay consistent? Is it full of clichés?

Minor correction: Yen is publishing this in omnibuses, so the book that comes out in January will contain volumes 21 and 22.

If you're looking for an adult action series that isn't full of shounen fighter cliches, it's far and away the best thing being published in English. My only complaint is the last few volumes have been bogged down in this massive crossover with two other manga series. Oh, and there are some pretty cringe worthy black characters who look like they stepped out of a 1990s gangsta rap video, though they eventually prove badass enough that you can forgive the artist.

I must've been under a rock...heard about this series awhile ago, but did not know that YenPress had licensed it...

I'm really enjoying it myself! It's like Daredevil meets the A-Team.
Lots of great action. Great artwork too!
If you like series like Black Lagoon, then this is a great fit. I highly recommend it! I've got all 10 volumes. So I'm guessing that with this final chapter it's a total of 26 volumes when all is said and done? Wow! I thought it was building to its climactic arc and the books are pretty big!
(Oops, Utsuro no Hako brings up the fact that the English volumes are 2in1s So, basically it'll be 13 volumes in English then. Nice!)
BTW Utsuro no Hako, what is the crossover that is going on? I had no idea!

Is pretty consistant, the cliches are very low. One of the my fav. manga, didn't expect it will end at all. Was expecting at least another 5 years honestly...

Who could have guessed that the author of Spriggan had such a gem in him and i strong assumed that Japanese Batman was on its penultimate arc and not on the homestretch. Hm.
Vol.26 is thus the last and a weird point to end it if you ask me. An anime is now out of the question too i guess but the series was one of the best books on the shelf while it lasted.
I will 100% check out the team´s next series and wouldn´t be surprised if they decided to keep at least their action universe alive.
