As long as they don't make Shirayuki a weak submissive downgrade from the last season, I'm happy. Part of what made the first season so good was that even though she wasn't strong physically, she was mentally.

I really hope they focus a bit more on the supporting characters for the 2nd cour. That key visual looks colorful~

I say the same as Stark. I look forward to the continuation!

Akiduki's original manga and the anime revolve around Shirayuki

Isn't the mangaka's surname Akizuki? I also noticed it is spelled "Akiduki" in the database.

The surname is written as あきづき, and "du" is how the character づ is represented in the (by now largely obsolete) Nihon-shiki romanization system; "zu" in that system is only used for ず. Since the two characters are pronounced identically in standard Japanese (and in most dialects), Hepburn and Kunrei-shiki romanizations use "zu" for both by default. Either way, judging by the copyright notice at the bottom of the author's website, "Akiduki" is their preferred way of romanizing their name.

Oh I hope they make it past the rather lengthy Tanburun and related stuff arc into my favorite arc. Though the Tanburun one is still good. This will be a full season of 24 episodes, right? Then they might have time to get into some of the side character arcs too.

Note for those concerned, Shirayuki the character only gets better as the story progresses. She grows into a strong and self-confident young woman.

Why would you think that? I expect it will be another single-cour release of twelve episodes like the first season.

If only... Regardless I'll definitely be reading the manga after it finishes airing.

:insert fangirl squee: I like the action-heavy nature of the Tanbarun arc, although I feel like Shirayuki herself doesn't get as many opportunities to shine in it. (Everyone else does though Smile

After seeing the condensed-but-excellent adaptation job on Noragami S2, part of me is really hoping they do something similar to get to the next arc and so many SY moments of awesome.

I've finished Season 2, and I hope there will be more. Everything about this anime appeals to me from the characters to the visual designs. I like that it's different from other Slice-of-Life series that I've seen (like Ouran & Maid-sama). I hope they adapt the Lyrias Arc, Part 1.
