Queen's Blade is back. All is right in the world. Can't wait for January.

Wish this was a full length TV season rather than just two OVA's. Well, better than nothing I guess. Maybe we'll get a new season after this.

Needs a new season where Leina unconsciously builds her own yuri harem. Anyway, love Alicia and Zara's designs. Cannot wait for this.

I just want to say that I like Queen's Blade. I think the original series and the six episode OVA series Beautiful Fighters that followed are legitimately good; the characters are well written, they have compelling story arcs that reinforce and contribute to the themes of what the series is about, the fan service is creative; overall I think it's a great, intelligent series.

I do have my own personal criticisms for it; every now and then, the odd fan service gag does get a little too silly. Some of the action scenes could've been done better and some of the characters resolutions could be improved upon; thankfully the following OVA series remedies that.

Queen's Blade Rebellion is one I also like, however not as much; once again, some good characters, great motifs both thematic and visual, decent action and comedy and some creative and comedic fan service. I do find it does get a little messy with the amount of characters and ideas it throws at the viewer within it's run time, and I'm still pretty bitter about the fact that it has an opening ending to it with no plans for a follow up season or even an OVA. As far as I'm concerned Rebellion is incomplete.

I did see the OVA episodes that took place before Rebellion that introduce Annelotte and establish her character; I strongly feel they should've been included on the North American release of this series. It's sort of like jumping into Darker Than Black season 2 without watching the OVAs that take place before it.

Then there are those Vanquished Queens OVA's which I think are terrible overall for the most part, and it sucks all the more since some of the episodes had some real potential for good storytelling. I could go on about why I dislike these episodes, but I won't worry about it; I'm just glad they're non-canon.

As for this new series that's out, it does look pretty cool and different yet similar to what's been done before. I like that there are some new characters and a new story line while some of the original characters are on there as well. I might have to check it out if the opportunity should come up.

As neat as this series looks, I still think an OVA, movie or season should be made to conclude Rebellion though.

ahh, Queen's Blade, how nostalgic, I loved the series when I first got into ecchi. Must rewatch them before these OVAs. Cool

I second this. Any Queen's Blade with Leina in it is a treat. I loved the first series the most because I liked her story the most. Haven't really payed much attention to any Queen's Blade after The Exiled Virgin series.

And all Leina needs is Elina and Echidna. But I can't say no to a yuri harem dedicated to Leina.

highly doubt that would be the case. knowing sentai , they might this time give it the sub only treatment. worse case scenario they dont go after the license at all. not to mentioned that this seems more like a weird spinoff instead of any sequel or prequels from the looks of things.

besides what QB fans really want to see is the sequel to rebellion and unfortunately there is no news on that at all and this might be their only chance to get in new ecchi / fanservice fans considering that season 2 of shinmai mao no testament is about to end & there is ZERO signs of any new signals of a new high school dxd series which have set the standards for series of their genres.
