LNs have a much lower turnover rate than manga. The industry burned through most of the good ones five years ago and not many new ones have come along that can match the quality of Durarara, Toradora and Haruhi, so they've had to push lower quality but still popular series. Now they're running out of popular series. Hopefully this will signal an end of the LN glut and we won't have twenty Loser at a Magical High School Gets a Harem each season. |

I got a feeling that the boob ribbon had a factor in it. Technically, this is the best-selling light novel series for '15 so far. The final sales would likely be done in Jan. 1 ANN article.
