While I haven't finished Pandora Hearts yet I liked enough of what I read to be intrigued by Vanitas.

Bacanno!'s manga is an instant-buy as soon as the print version hits.

All around great news! Thank you, Yen!

I'm glad to hear the Baccano manga has been picked up as the anime was a fun ride but the manga fits my personal tastes better.

Hope that means that they're encouraged by the light novel preorders so far for Baccano. I know I've got volume 1 on pre-order. Can't wait to get back into the Baccano universe.

Great news. Now I can enjoy the story without having to hear Isaac and Miria anymore!

What?! They were one of the most enjoyable parts of the series. Their great romance and comedic hyjinks were executed perfectly.

Where do you have it reordered because I keep seeing nothing on Rightstuf.

Baccano pre-orders are also available from the Book Depository, for those without Amazon.

I don't know if I'll pick up the manga. Since it seems to just tread the same ground as the anime, I might give it a miss.

Memoir of Vanitas sounds fun, though.

^ Yeah I'm actually curious what path the manga will take. I feel like one of the reasons for Baccano's financial failure in its anime adaptation was its non-chronological approach, blending ~3 and a half novels all at once and jumping constantly through them. If the manga goes for a "safer" approach of doing one arc/novel at a time, then its start isn't going to be the strongest (in my opinion, the first novel is the worst one out of all of them), not to mention that it's retreading stuff. Plus, it'd take until the 4th novel for new material (assuming they adapt it faithfully, unlike the anime), which could take several months/years on the manga (I don't know if it's a weekly or monthly thing)
