Ah, good ol' face-smashing fun. Plus getting to play as the completely wonky-bonkers Majima should be amusing.

Good news. Well, I actually don't bother one bit. But if this will shut the whiny Yakuza fanboys up when Sega localizes more Miku's games in the future, then all's good.

We need the HD versions ports of 1 and 2 but at this point given those are for the PS3 the moment may have passed.
They are remaking Yakuza 1 for PS4 so I guess we can hope that comes over. Also they are bound to then remake Yakuza 2 as well.

Shouldn't that be Yakuza?

I still can't believe it, after not localized the non numbered games such as Kurohyou games and the Ishin and Kenzan games, but this game is canon so...

Yakuza fans have every reason to be whiny considering not every game in the series has left Japan which would include the two PSP games, the feudal Japan spin-off, and the Meiji era spin-off that came out not too long ago.

I agree with this.

No. Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the series.
Now, they are making a remake of the original Yakuza under the name Yakuza Kiwami. It's also planned for the PS4, but the US is a few years away from seeing that, at least.

At least the feudal Japan spinoff, Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan! (which follows Miyamoto Musashi) has a complete translation, and I believe the same dude is working on Ishin. There's some dudes working on the first Kurohyou game, too.
Speaking of Kurohyou, those where made Syn Sophia, Inc., which is the current form of the company AKI Corporation. AKI made Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 and its US version, WWF No Mercy, which are two of the most well-regarded pro wrestling games ever made.

Yeah but I don't think the game is called Ya(z)u(k)a. Notice the mistake here?

Oh wow, I can't believe I didn't notice that. Sorry for trying to correct you.
I guess that's one of those spelling mistakes that one's brain fixes easily on its own...
