^ She didn't need to be active to do a song for a series as evidenced with Evangelion in 2012. It was just up to her. Oh, and Disney needs to pay her more money, which was an issue back then.

YAY for Utada! All is right in the world.

Hopefully everything has settled down well in her life now. The year when her mother passed away seemed quite rough on her.

Yay Hikaru-san! This is the first I heard of her monther passing away. Sad Rest in peace Utada-oka-sama! Also, if she's releasing another album, I hope this means another US tour! I saw her right before she declared hiatus status in 2010 during her "In The Flesh" tour, of which one of her stops was here in Boston area where I currently live! I'd totally attend a concert of hers again. It was awesome! If she doesn't do Boston I'd trek it down to NYC! This is awesome news!
