The premise sounds A LOT like Overlord. But with less subtext, apparently? Razz

Didn't expect this license at all. The Manga just started earlier this year. Wonderful just wonderful. "dark harem fantasy". Love harems.

Can they license "Gun X Clover" too, while at their at it & bring it to the States.

What is this "subtext" of which you speak?

Yeah, I can see this one being sold in plastic wrap.

I enjoy the corrupt economics/politics/general mindfuckery. Interesting pickup, will definitely buy.

Yeah, having just read the first volume of the comicilization on Kindle a few days ago (that's a coincidence)... Pretty surprised this is getting licensed. Especially since there's only one volume out of the manga so far... as I know?

It's cool that they're getting more stuff, but I still just wish they could release clay lord a bit faster.

Well that is a surprise that Seven Seas got this despite it's content and story.

And when they say this manga is dark, it is dark since the protagonist is the bad guy and the story can be borderline H at times.

I have read the manga on Comic Valkyrie comic reader so i can't wait to see how Seven Seas translate this.

Well, ANN had that announcement yesterday that they picked up Monster Girls Encyclopedia, so they aren't exactly nervous for licensing such extreme content.

Amazon might think the same; searching for 姫騎士がクラスメートin the Kindle store gives you 魔王の始め方 results after the 姫騎士がクラスメート results.

The majority of Seven Seas' licenses lately seem to be very early into their serialisation. Quite a few of their licenses this week have very few volumes available yet.
