Yep - same deal with Nitroplus Blasterz. Since these are niche titles, they probably don't want to go to the trouble and expense of releasing both versions.

Wow, those music rights lawyers must've been busy with this one. How do they do it? Are some of these estates simply more permissive than others? (I hear Jimi Hendrix's estate is one of the least permissive ones. On the other hand, Beatles rights is notoriously but understandably expensive, but Viz's version of Stardust Crusaders was able to keep Rubber Soul's name.)

Excited for this since I too enjoyed All Star Battle.

Wonder if their name translations will be consistent with that game though because there were other Jojo-related media after it's release which had instances where some of the original names were kept (Examples: Polnareff in Crunchyroll's subs for Stardust Crusaders & Crazy Diamond in J-Stars Victory Vs. +).

Well, there it is, but yeah, expect certain characters like the last game to be hit with the name changes, and possibly on some of the new characters too. (More or less.)

But yeah, funny no PS3 version, but just PS4 version in English, though hopefully a situation like Nitro+ Blasters might happen (PS3 Digital only while PS4 is both Retail/Digital.), but who knows, it just might be singled out for one system. >.>

Is that a problem? PS3 versions don't sell in the west. Most people buying these games have a PS4 by now. Those that don't, better get on it.

And hopefully if there's a physical release that they don't make it exclusive to Amazon & the Bandai Namco store again. Not much of a fan of the former nowadays and IIRC, there were problems with the latter when people tried buying All Star Battle from there.

Seriously though, if they can get both PS3 & PS4 versions of J-Stars in stores when it's just as niche as Jojo then they should get Eyes of Heaven there too, especially if it's only for one console.

Damn you're everywhere NeoStrayCat. This is MikuruX from SRK, Dustloop, Siliconera, etc. LOL! Small world!

I'm already enjoying this game but I really wish it had a practice mode or some free training mode. Trying to get used to the controls and doing combos is rough at times. I'll still buy this when the US version comes out but I still hate the damn name changes....stupid US copyright laws, I swear.
