Seeing the protag waving around panties has gotten my to lower my expectations for this one. Let's hope that, with lower expectations, I'm surprised and end up really liking it. Laughing

Oh how I wish that Deen didn't have their hands on this one. While it's not the greatest of the "waking up in a fantasy world" series that are starting to pop up, the protagonist is pretty charming in his cynicism and the girls who join him are pretty charming in their utter lunacy.

It would have been really nice if they had gotten a studio like Diomedea, J.C. Staff or even Pierrot to animate this one. I will, however, give Deen the benefit of the doubt and hope that this is animated a lot better than Log Horizon 2 (still think that was a fit they were throwing over losing the Fate license).

That scene is a one off that I fear the anime will totally blow out of proportion. Having spent some time reading the manga and light novel, it's a scene focused on spoiler[ the protagonist learning how to use a steal skill and accidentally ending up with his target's panties, instead of regaining his wallet] and is extremely minor. The only thing of worth from that scene is the knowledge that spoiler[the protagonist can learn a slew of skills from classes other than his own due to his relatively low level class.]

Ugh, I did want to watch this, until... I saw Studio Deen.
Not even sure whether I want to watch it now, especially with those character designs.

While that does sound interesting, still don't really like that they went there, as it is still a typical gag. And, I too wouldn't be surprised if it does get played up more in the anime...wouldn't be shocked if it happens more than once during the anime's run. Laughing

Actually, I was implying that it was not really well done and that I fear it would be blown out of proportion.
