Wait, you mean the game is actually coming out in the US. It says it is coming out on PS4 but that could just mean Japan or any other country that is not America. It's been like 4 years since they said they were going to bring it to these shores and I'm doubtful anything has changed since then.

I mean "if we ever hypothetically get the game, we'll have gotten the anime first."

I've lost any hope of it happening, mind you.

Sadly, Sega has already said that they are not releasing the PS4 version of PSO2 anywhere other than Japan. Here's a link http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2015/08/22/phantasy-star-online-2-ps4-west/ to that information.

Other than that, it really is a smack in the face that the anime has been licensed for NA, while we're still waiting for any news on the game coming over here.
