I've played the game for a total of 7 hours today. I'm sure the reason is because... it sucks so much, it wouldn't be worth it. Even those who played it would not likely get hooked in the West. I'm a huge .hack fan. I played .hack//LINK, the worst game in the series, religiously when it came out just to learn all I could about the story and world and such. Guilty Dragon was a huge let down on that and ended up having very, very little to do with the series' overall story, being only an amusing card-collecting game with meh characters. It made .hack//LINK feel more like an actual "game". New World DOES seem better than that and feels more .hack-ish when talking about the game itself (rather than the cameo characters). It's just so... ugh. I'll keep playing because I love the franchise itself. But the game basically a more data-eating version of too many other mobile rpg's. No strategy, no difficulty, and one-dimensional...
The art is fun, too. Like Guilty Dragon. Just won't really get me to complete the story any faster...
