I wouldn't mind another season tbh.

This show has been very entertaining including the soundtrack and music; especially Raise Your Flag!

That does explain the slow pacing if true.

So far I'd be totally ok with another season.

Good news!

Well expected news, the passing would have been far too slow for a 24 episode show.

Hopefully they'll start to flesh out the world a bit more over time. I'm guessing Gjallahorn (or however it's written) will be taken out at the end the first part, then a new organization with silver Char will take its place. Wonder if Mika will get a new gundam...

I don't think I could stand to set through another 25 or 26 episodes of this. I'll probably end up dropping it if it doesn't end after the first season.

Nice, glad to see more. I guess it's not a total surprise since nearly all Gundam TV series are two seasons long.

My thoughts exactly.

Yeah, this would definitely make sense given the pacing. I haven't been too bothered by it, but it has felt like it's dragging it's feet a little bit lately. There is plenty to expand on though, so this is nothing but good news if true. Hopefully they will keep Mari Okada on for the scripts.

On another note: Is this automatically a Nozomi license? Or is it still technically up in the air?

I think it's a safe bet to say that TRSI will be handling it, but like their other recent Gundam ventures, I'd guess it won't technically be licensed at all. It is, after all, just a distribution deal, with Sunrise calling the shots themselves.

Hopefully there's another season! For me the issue wasn't slow pacing, but rather that there were way too many plotlines introduced, so it would be really hard to tie together everything effectively in 10 episodes.

I haven't started watching this because I want to watch it dubbed. But for those that are, to what Gundam series can this one be compared too?

If it's anything like Gundam 00, then I'm down. Not to say I wouldn't watch it if it wasn't. Just enjoyed Gundam 00 and Code Geass a good deal.

Oh gawd there's going to be more? How much longer can the peace princess spend time trying to connect with the edge lord proletariat before she misses the peace conference?

If I honestly had to liken it to any Gundam series, I'd say it's 60% Gundam X, 20% Gundam 00, 20% 08th MS Team.

okay, thanks for that. I just was hoping it would be closer to Gundam 00 because I liked shows like that. It and Code Geass gave you a thrill trying to figure out where everyone stood and who was plotting what.
