Even while reading the actual manga I remember learning a good deal about geography and ethnic cultures, especially in Part 3. Also I watched the entirety of Columbo when Jotaro simply mentioned it during the Judgement fight.

Wait a sec. Ho Chi Minh city? Did they really went to Vietnam? I mean, in the anime, the Joestar group went to Singapore after Hong Kong. Did they changed it or what? I'm totally confused.
