Holy shit! Surprised Shocked
I will be hanging out with my brother and his fiance tonight! right around then! Perfect introduction to anime right here! Laughing

Seriously though, I would enjoy watching this, but I don't think I'll be able to tune in, unfortunately. That's the problem with TV in general.

Sad I don't get MNet America. But I did order the season 1 release with the dub as well as season 2 so I can just wait till those arrive in the mail. Really didn't expect this to get on TV, even if it's a more obscure channel.

Well this surprising. So how widely available is this channel in the US? As I live in Canada this is the first time I've ever heard of it.

Talented voice actors I recognize. Novices that might have a lot of potential. Both are good.

Who wants to bet it'll be another case of a potentially great dub screwed by incompetent direction?

Here's a list of the markets where this channel is available, and from which cable providers. Looks like your best bet in most places is if you have Verizon Fios:

I'll have to see if I get this channel, cause I'm dying to watch this.

My best girl (Maki), got a a VA I really like, so I'm happy. I can't believe most of the actresses are more or less unknown though. It makes me really nervous for how this will turn out...but then again, with new people you also have the chance to create something amazing fans couldn't have imagined, so I'm going to pray it goes in that direction. Besides Caitlin, the only one I've heard is Erica, and I think she'll fit Nico nicely.

So, how many households actually get Mnet America, and how many of those will actually bother to tune in?

As hopeful as I am for this show, I am reminded of the debacle that was Chiller's Anime Wednesdays, and certainly not in a good way.

The channel seems to be a bunch of K-pop stuff which is quite interesting they're going to broadcast Love Live.

Credit to Mnet for being one of the few reasons (and I emphasize FEW) why it was a bummer to cut cable. While I haven't seen any anime there since English dub K-On and Haruhi, I really miss their KPop coverage (particularly KCon and the MAMA awards). Would've been a good time to finally indulge in Love Live...

So excited to watch this tonight!
I was so surprised when I had the channel as background noise while I was doing something in my room a few nights ago, and heard a "Nico Nico Niiiiii" from my TV. I didn't even know it was getting a dub.

I dont think it's too widespread a channel. Where I live it, I have Comcast/xfinity, and it's part of that first "you pay extra for it" Digital channel tier. I live in a major city (Houston), which is likely part of the reason. I am guessing you're likely to have it if you have a big enough asian population in the area?

Mnet mainly plays Korean shows, music videos, dramas, movies, performances ect, but I remember a few years back they used to air anime (MaiHime, Eureka Seven iirc, and Outlaw Star as a few examples).

This isn't Mnet's first rodeo. They've also shown K-On!, Mai-HiME and Outlaw Star in the past.

I swear at one point we were supposed to get this channel; it was in the channel guide and everything (when you tuned to it you got the community bulletin channel) but then it just disappeared. Sad
