I KNEW that was Reibun-sensei's artwork!! And Homerun Ken? Her works usually look cute, so I'd like to see what and how it would be like.
Also, yaoi and zombies- something I wanted to see made for a while now.

You and me both, Chrno. Still, manga has given us plenty of odd combos before that somehow turned out fun. So I'll keep an eye out for this if I get a chance to read it. |

They might call each other cold-hearted at times, or maybe even brain dead. But in the end, they'll give each other their hearts... and flesh.

I remember a movie once that was about a shy boy who was unable to tell his girlfriend how he felt. Then he died. He then came back as a zombie to woo the girl. It was kind of a cross between a romantic comedy and a horror movie. I can't remember the title of this movie but it has some similarities to this manga. I doubt something like this is what George Romero had in mind when he created "Night of the Living Dead."
As for the zombie/BL manga,I think I'll skip it if it ever comes here. And,the same for zombie/GL manga,and zombie/traditional romance manga. Besides,it's hard to love a zombie in any incarnation. For one thing,he/she is DEAD! That barrier's kind of an insurmountable one. They either fall to pieces or they will see you as their next meal. So,the chances for a second date with a zombie are practically nil. |

I think you completely missed the point, mate. It's not gonna be about love between humans and zombies, but about two survivors of the zombie apocalypse, coincidentally males. I doubt people would bother making ACTUAL zombie x human pairings lol |

I remember people were saying similiar things about Sankarea, but that one actually turned out okay, at least, imo. I liked Chihiro, and perhaps because I am a bit hollow, Rea's creepy dad resonated a few chords. These kind of romances require you to spend a lot of belief...a lot of logical context too. |

Just like vampires getting oversaturated within the pop culture conscious with the god-awful Twilight series, I'd hate to see them take over my beloved BL. I know there are some who would look forward to this, but just the idea of zombies as romantic characters turns me off. Zombies were meant to be blasted back to whatever hell they came from, but taken into someone's bedroom. I come from the horror sphere and I've cut my teeth mainly on Lucio Fulci's Zombie films and trust me--zombies are scary MO-FO's. Perhaps this is an area of BL that hasn't been tapped but I'm looking at this with a lot of caution. Something in me is saying: no way! Have we covered all the ground within BL, subject wise and the genre needs a shot of adrenaline or caffeine or (insert drug of choice here), There are so many directions where this sort of thing could go wrong. Necrophilia is one taboo I really don't want to explore or fantasize about. Sorry but that's just me.
