I like the opening.From what i've seen of it it does like a good games.To bad it is only on the Xbox one.

Don't worry. It most likely will end up on PC through Windows 10(If you play on PC).

 Recently, I've been seeing some old school shooters making reappearances as a sequel or a HD reboot.
I can't recall if I played any of the games from this series. I mean they surround the retro world, but Raiden, starting from II, has a nice clean, scroller look. AND V LOOKS SEXY! |

Raiden IV eventually came to PS3, hopefully this comes to Sony's console too.

No idea what this game is, but those jets look like red redecoes of Classics Cyclonus.

If this is actually a side-shooter, then this is a marked departure from the franchise's format, because Raiden games have always been vertical scrollers. However, I didn't see any evidence of any gameplay in that video. |

Xbox One and Win10 are becoming the same ecosystem, so XB1 games are becoming Win10 exclusives. |

If you want true Raiden, I recommend picking up Raiden Legacy on GOG or Steam, iiOS or Android. this one has the Raiden Fighters trilogy as well as the original Raiden. I remember playing the very first Raiden back in the arcade.
Heck I call on this even to ANN Mods and Admins! If you haven't played Raiden, you're missing out. Its one of the Four Godly Shmups. The others being Gradius, R-Type, and Touhou. |
