Well, that just saved me some funds. I wonder what the reasoning is this time?

Dunno.

Maybe they figured out that you can only milk a franchise for so long. Laughing

Perhaps they realised the stupidity in re-releasing individual discs for low-teir titles that already have some kind of complete collection, because gasp and god forbid, no one would buy them?

I'd still bet that these were more intended for the Walmart market than anything else, lower prices, already got most of the hardcore market via the collections, push a bunch of singles out there at the lower prices to get some random interest and see what sells.

That comment is really unfair. I dont know what what your beef with ADV is, but they are just like any other liscensing company out there. They buy stuff, they sell stuff, they try new ideas.

They have been in the business long before the anime boom, releasing unedited goodness, liscensing stuff no one else would dare touch, and provide extras more on thier DVDs than any other company out there. In an age of fansubbing, and heavier competetion, they struggle to keep thier business afloat by reinventing new ways to keep thier business of selling anime in the US alive.

If your going to say unfair stuff like that, you should educate us by backing it up.

Thats cool. I just hang around a bunch of snobs that hate U.S. liscensing companies, and i feel i am alone in my community (where fansubs are gods) when i rave about whats new in the US. I guess comments like that get too me, because I wonder if maybe if I am wrong in giving support.

I apolagize ifor taking it too seriously.

It is ok.I understand where you are coming from.I do support american companies for releasing dvds and what not.You should support what you in believe in and stick by that.Just sometimes all of us forget to laugh at things.I have done this myself several times.I would like to think that the other person meant what they said as a joke.
Oh by the way i am a different poster then the other person(the person who made the intial comment).Just realized they have a similiar name.lol

No problem.

You should definitely relax a bit.

If that's your belief, then stick with it.
