I know Morosawa's work has been a bit... contentious but hopefully we can all be mature and avoid any snide remarks.

It's well known she's been sick for awhile so this doesn't really come as a surprise. Personally I liked SEED and don't hate Destiny so RIP to her.

Wow. Too many passing away articles lately. While her condition has been known for the longest, it's still unfortunate to hear this. Thank you for SEED(I only liked the OP and ED songs in Destiny).

RIP

I knew this news through Kamemaru Jun-ichi's twitter.

Thank you for your work in Cyber Formula and Dendoh alongside Fukuda. I don't care about Seed in the slightest, R.I.P.

Ignoring the behind the scenes drama behind Gundam Seed Destiny aside that has lead to its infamy among Gundam fans worldwide, it's always sad to hear the passing of one of the most major influences behind the show that has got me into Gundam in the first place.

Anyways, with the claims that the script for the long delayed Gundam Seed movie is now complete, I wonder if her now widowed husband will finally finish off what she started or will it inspire him to do something different from what she originally wanted to go?

Hopefully, even those who aren't fans of Destiny will still provide respect for what has happened here.

RIP

I know a the fan consensus on Seed/Destiny, but regardless of the problems, they will always have a special place in my heart for helping me get back into gundam after a hiatus in the late 90's.

Ya'll are making it seem like EVERYONE hates Gundam Seed/Destiny. I must be extremely behind because last I saw it was a pretty divided community and I personally really enjoyed both seasons.

GSD haters just can't shut up and get over it. The show is over and it's been done for over 10 years.

RIP Chiaki.

SEED/SEED Destiny are really popular in Japan, hence why they got remastered versions, but in the west they weren't as well received. Though they definitely do have their fans such as myself.

I thought I was the only one who's seen Gear Fighter Dendoh. Good to know someone else has as well.

So many deaths in such a short time... Sad
R.I.P. Ms. Morosawa-san. Your influence of Gundam shall be remembered forever.
