Yeah, I'm pretty confused too. The way it's described makes Pokémon sound like a fashion line, which is a first. it also makes Pikachu sound like a fashion designer.
I can imagine conversations between Barrymore and Pikachu. DREW BARRYMORE: I love how the Drillburs on this dress complement the earth tones of the handbag. The stitching on the hemline even matches the gray of Drillbur's stripes. You're such a brilliant designer! NEIL PIKACHU: Pika pika! (Digimon design is so prêt-à-porter!) It sounds like it's less that she's an established fan and more she saw what Pokemon is doing merch-wise (a unisex fashion line) and is really onboard with it. She must like the character designs at least though if she's theming a party around it I guess.

That's a big surprise to me. I had no idea that Drew Barrymore even liked "Pokemon." Since she's an actress,she probably hopes that they'll give her a role on the show. Does anyone think that's possible?

Why does it matter mentioning the "unisex fashion" part? I think it's kind of obvious that Pokemon has unisex fashion items.

I'd say, more likely, she heard from someone that Pokémon has a big 20th anniversary celebration going on and, finding out about the fashion items, is holding a satellite party because she likes them so much. She could be a fan, or she could not be. You can never really tell. |

celebrities have always expressed how much they love pokemon. One of the 5SOS group member loves pokemon and you also have jordin sparks american idol winner.
