I'm glad to see older!Maya, but part of that trailer has me concerned that TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS CASE 5 SPOILERS she may be the victim of the last case - see also Elise Deauxnim/Misty Fey. I'm praying that this doesn't happen, because I love Maya, and this would be cliché even by Ace Attorney standards.

Would be nice if we can get it in the west by the end of 2016. That's probably a bit too optimistic to hope for though.

Yes! Maya is back! Phoenix Wright 6 is going to be fantastic. Just wasn't the same without her. Hopefully we get the game this year.

That lip-synch is pretty stiff.
Certainly not reaching very far with that re-design, if you can call it that. She's just lost her babyface is all.

......I've never gotten the impression they were building up all this to do something like that especially since's Maya's dropping out of the story wasn't some oft mentioned mystery (loose-end) the writer's then decide to tie up (lazily) at the end.

Given Maya's weird absence in recent games (they'd usually include a sentence about her somewhere in the game, just to indicate she existed), I'm really happy about this. It always annoyed me that Phoenix's trusted partner seemingly vanished, but plenty of other side characters got cameos.
Since she looks like she may have a full time job as a Master now, I don't expect her to be back in the sidekick seat. But it's lovely to see her all grown up, she became really beautiful. I feel like I've been waiting for an official character design for 'grown up maya' for far too long.

Maya did have a cameo in AAI. Glad to see her back. I do hope other long term characters will return, though most of my favorites are most likely dead (Morgan Fey, Dee Vasquez, Wendy Oldbag)

Why would Dee Vasquez be dead?
As for Wendy Oldbag she made a cameo in Apollo Justice's second case.....though that could've easily been some other old lady.
