Kinda funny, because Comiket started out being female focused too. We've almost come full circle.

Huh, good point! That is really cool too.
This isn't too surprising though, but is nice to see.
I wish there was a con like this in the NA that focused so well on catering/pandering so well to female audiences. It would be cool to merge a con for all women (between the yuri, yaoi, het audiences and all in-between). I think it would show more anime companies how much of their audience is indeed female and how worthwhile we are too.
More on-topic, I wonder if any of the artists I'm a fan of have booths there. I should check their pixivs and websites~.

The sea of people kinda reminds me of the Munich Oktoberfest.
Is it really worth it going to events this large. With the Oktoberfest I was really lucky to even get a seat (after a long line) in a Beer Garden, forget the Beer Tent (where all the action is).
Can you really do a lot at the Comic Market, when compared to the time spent actually getting in.

It seems that the charms of the Matsu Family Sextet have worked their wonders to a huge extent. It'll be quite a while before one will have a chance to buy even just a single character drawing with a crowd that massive.

It's probably worth it for the fan merch that can be hard to get. Don't some artists include special versions of their doujin or extras you can only get at the cons?

Though I assume most of these people only came for Mr. Osomatsu, I remembered last time Comiket was full of Free!tards now Osomatsu is taking the reign, and considering that the female market have a very less market competition It was not surprising.
