I don't mind an AV actress writing manga, with all the stuff I've seen coming out of the medium for almost 25 years, it would be hypocritical to not allow sex workers to write them.

Well then, this is interesting...
Not too surprising though as porn stars often dabble in mainstream entertainment with hopes of success. Ginger Lynn did Wing Commander 3, Marilyn Chambers was in David Cronenberg's Rabid and did a fantastic job (as a matter of fact, there's a rumor that she was driven to porno instead of mainstream cinema because she refused to become a powerful studio executive's mistress...), and recently there was that James Deen guy in that Paul Schrader movie. So they do try to cross over a lot. And yeah, some Jump artists have worked in hentai. Kazushi Hagiwara was assistant to Dirty Matsumoto, and drew hardcore inserts into the Bastard!! kanzenban...although Bastard!! is known for obliterating such boundaries anyway... |
