We all would love a 2nd season but I am not going to complain about more Akayona. I'll definitely be ordering this.

Anyone who isn't reading the manga this will spoil you because this arc comes well after what the anime shows. It's s great arc though so I can see why they chose it.

That's nice, real nice, but how about that season 2, Hakusensha?

As much as I am excited for Zeno's story to be animated, this just seems like a second season will be very unlikely, since they will be jumping so far ahead in the story. Sad

Awesome, I'm happy to see any more of Yona produced, and I'm glad to see this arc produced specifically. But this probably means we won't see a legal release with subtitles overseas. That tends to be the standard with OADs attached to manga volume LE's. Another reason I'd prefer a 2nd season instead.

Eeeeee~ To echo others, I'm happy with whatever more Yona we get :) (also happy to have release dates for the next two Japanese manga volumes to count down to!) The manga was always the most important thing for me, and with Viz bringing that out this summer, I have no complaints. Maybe if sales here are good enough, Funi and/or Viz can work something out to give this an English release??

edit: Another thought—I'm not getting my hopes up for a second season, but this part of the manga is so far ahead that I don't think it necessarily rules one out. The first 24 episodes covered volumes 1-8, so if they made a second season and if it was the same length, I still wouldn't expect it to get much farther than vol16-17. Depending how this story is presented, it could be a stand-alone thing and not get into what's happening in the main storyline.

Oh yes~! I loved Zeno's past story! So adorable, yet sad at the same time. I am beyond happy that it's going to be animated! Though I definitely do agree that Yona needs a S2 more then all these mini OVAs. -___-;

While it is nice news to see these OVAs being released, would've preferred a 2nd season. Won't check these out, as others said there are spoilers, as I want to read the manga...thank god Viz licensed it!

This year has been one where manga I'm collected have ended/are ending. Evergreen, Inu x Boku SS, Sacred Blacksmith, My Little Monster, A Silent Voice, and Orange will all leave me with some extra $$$ to spend.

Yay for more animated Yona! Frustrated it isn't S2.
I wonder if the OVA bundle manga sales are watched particularly close though, and may impact chances of a second season?
