Sentai Filmworks: Gatchaman Crowds Release Does Not Include Director's Cut Episode

Online retailer Right Stuf asked North American licensor Sentai Filmworks if its release of Gatchaman Crowds would include the director's cut edition of episode 12.

Sentai Filmworks responded with, "That particular episode, what people call the 'OVA episode,' belongs to someone else, not the original licensor that we did business with to acquire the 12 episode series. I can't say with absolute certainty that we won't get it in the future, but for now it is exclusive to Japan."

Sentai Filmworks will ship the series ship on Blu-ray and DVD with an English dub on September 2.
