Ushijima the Loan Shark Manga Goes on 1-Month Hiatus

This year's 40th issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine is announcing on Monday that Shohei Manabe's Ushijima the Loan Shark manga will take a one-month hiatus. The series will return in the magazine in October.
The original Ushijima the Loan Shark manga depicts the human drama in the black market world, as seen through the eyes of the titular loan shark. Ushijima heads Kaukau Finance, an outfit that lends money at an illegal interest rate — "Togo" or 50% every 10 days.
The series inspired two live-action films and a second live-action television series premiered in January.
