Discotek Delays Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro DVD by 2 Weeks

According to online retailer Amazon's listing, North American anime distributor Discotek Media has delayed its DVD release of Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro until January 6. The release was originally slated to ship on December 23.
Discotek Media announced in March that it will release Hayao Miyazaki's first feature film on DVD and Blu-ray Disc. Both releases will include both English dubs, the original intro, and the Japanese audio track with English subtitles. The remaster of the 1979 film premiered in Japan in May.
Streamline Pictures originally released the film on VHS and Laserdisc in the U.S. in the 1990s. Manga Entertainment then re-dubbed the film and released it on DVD in 2000 and again in 2006.
