Yo-kai Watch TCG Ships 100 Million Cards in 8 Months

In the eight months since Bandai launched its Yo-kai Watch trading card game in May, the total number of cards shipped has exceeded 100 million.
"Yo-kai Watch Toritsuki Card Battle" is a two player card game where players summon the Yo-kai from the video games and anime. The fourth series of cards launched on January 17, and it includes some rare Yo-kai from the Yo-kai Watch: Tanjō no Himitsu da Nyan! film that opened on December 20.
To commemorate the sales numbers, Bandai is launching a campaign where players who spend 900 yen (about US$8) or more on "Yo-kai Watch Toritsuki Card Battle" at select stores will get a first edition "Jibakoma" card. Five-card booster packs cost 150 yen (about US$1.30) each, and three-card booster packs cost 100 yen (US$0.85) each.
