Newtype: New Five Star Stories Manga Volume Not Scheduled Yet

posted on by Egan Loo

The website for Kadokawa's Monthly Newtype magazine posted a notice about an error in the reported June 10 release date for Mamoru Nagano's 13th manga volume. The magazine's editors were not at all aware that Amazon Japan had begun accepting pre-orders for the volume, and they added that the listing is completely not accurate.

As soon as the release date is confirmed, the editors will announce it in Newtype itself, the WebNewtype site, and Nagano's own offical website. The volume had been delayed from last fall.

Nagano launched his science fantasy manga series in Newtype in 1986, although the series has been running intermittently since then. The last regularly compiled book volume, the 12th one, shipped in 2006. The manga went on hiatus that year and relaunched in the magazine's May 2013 issue. It went back on hiatus in Spring 2014 as Nagano prepared the 13th volume for print.
