Attack on Titan: Before the Fall Manga Has 1.4 Million Copies in Print

The September issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine revealed on Saturday that Ryo Suzukaze and Satoshi Shiki's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall manga has 1.4 million copies in print. The manga adapts Suzukaze and character designer THORES Shibamoto's novel series of the same name. The novels are a spinoff of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga.

Kodansha Comics is publishing the Attack on Titan: Before the Fall manga series in English, and the company will ship the fifth compiled manga volume on August 25. Kodansha shipped the sixth volume in Japan on Friday. Vertical is publishing the light novel series in English, and the company released the second novel in May.

Isayama's original Attack on Titan manga has 50 million copies in print worldwide, and the English-language edition has 2.5 million copies in print.
