Tokyo Game Show Draws 268,400 Across 4 Days

Tokyo Game Show 2015 reported an attendance of 268,400 over the course of four days (September 17-20) this past week. That is more than last year's total of 251,831, but less than the record total of 270,197 in 2013 (the year Sony unveiled the PlayStation 4). A record 480 companies and organizations participated (compared to 421 last year), and over 1,280 game titles were on display.
The last public day (September 20) drew in around 112,200 people, up by about 9,000 people from last year's last-day attendance of 103,091. A person who attends all four days would be counted four times.
Next year's Tokyo Game Show will run from September 15 to September 18 at the same Makuhari Messe center in Chiba.
