Bandai Namco Trademarks 'Tales of Zestiria the X', 'Tales of Rays' in Europe

Bandai Namco Entertainment filed for trademarks for "Tales of Zestiria the X" and "TALES OF THE RAYS" in Europe on Monday.
Tales of Zestiria shipped on January 22 in Japan. Bandai Namco Entertainment shipped the game for the PS3, PS4, and PC in Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia on October 16, and in North America on October 20. The Western release of the game includes both Japanese and English audio tracks.
An anime special, Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake (Tales of Zestiria: Dawn of the Fon Master), aired on December 30 and 31. ufotable (Tales of Symphonia the Animation, Tales of Xillia in-game cutscenes) animated the special. The anime special was also included on the game's disc in Japan.
Bandai Namco previously registered a trademark of "Tales of Best" in Japan in October. The latest Tales of role-playing game, Tales of Berseria, is in development for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
