Nintendo Widens Dragon Quest VII's Release Window

Nintendo revealed during its Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday that its Western release of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past for the Nintendo 3DS is slated for some time in 2016. The game was first announced for an early summer 2016 release.

Square Enix released this remake of the original PlayStation title in Japan in 2013. The game features new graphics, and the Western release will include a new translation.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is also slated for a Western release this year.
