Stu Levy Hires Writer to Pen Film Script of Tokyopop Comic Juror 13

Entertainment news source The Hollywood Reporter revealed on Monday that Tokyopop founder Stu Levy is producing a film adaptation of his Juror 13 graphic novel in association with China's Artention Films. Screenwriter Michael Ferris (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation) is adapting the graphic novel into a screenplay.
The report states that Levy hopes to begin production on the film in 2017, with a 2017 or 2018 release in China and worldwide.
DJ Milky (a pseudonym of Stu Levy) wrote the original graphic novel, with art by Makoto Nakatsuka. Tokyopop published the graphic novel in 2006.
