Daisuki Makes One-Punch Man Anime Available to Selected Asian Countries

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Anime Consortium Japan's (ACJ) Daisuki streaming service announced on Friday that it has made the One-Punch Man anime available to all Asian countries except Japan, China, and Malaysia. The website previously offered the series only in North America, South America, Europe, and South Korea. The series is offered with English, Chinese, and Thai subtitles.

ACJ describes the series:

In the series, nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression, to his bald head, to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem – he just can't seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on! Every time a promising villain appears, he beats the snot out of 'em with one punch! Can Saitama finally find an opponent who can go toe-to-toe with him and give his life some meaning? Or is he doomed to a life of super-powered boredom?

The anime premiered last October, and is based on ONE and Yūsuke Murata's manga of the same name. Animax Asia is also offering One-Punch Man in Southeast Asia via its video-on-demand service.
