Kiss Him, Not Me TV Anime Premieres This Fall

The official website for Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine revealed on Friday that that the television anime adaptation of Junko's Kiss Him, Not Me (Watashi ga Motete Dōsunda) manga will premiere this fall on TBS and BS-TBS. The July issue of Bessatsu Friend will also reveal an anime visual when it ships on Monday.

Hiroshi Ishiodori (Peach Girl, Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino) will direct the anime at Brains Base. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Dagashikashi) is in charge of series composition. Kazuhiko Tamura (Gunparade Orchestra, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien ~Next Season~, Kyōkai no Rinne) is designing the characters for animation. Mina Ōsawa (Actually, I Am…, Nurse Witch Komugi R) is the chief animation director.

Junko began the manga in Bessatsu Friend 2013, and Kodansha will publish the manga's ninth volume on July 13. Crunchyroll is releasing chapters of the manga in North America as Kodansha publishes them in Japan, and Kodansha Comics published the manga's fifth volume in North America on June 7.
