This year's 43rd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine announced on Wednesday that Rumiko Takahashi's RIN-NE (Kyōkai no Rinne) manga will have "super important news" in the next issue on September 28.
The magazine previously announced that the manga would have "important announcements" before both the first and second seasons of the television anime were announced.
The RIN-NE 2 television anime series premiered in Japan on April 9. The anime's official website noted earlier this month that the final episode of the anime series draws near.
Takahashi launched the manga in Shonen Sunday in 2009 after ending her long-running series Inuyasha in the same magazine. The series' 32nd compiled book volume shipped in Japan on Friday.
