NIS America announced on Wednesday that it has delayed its release of Arc System Works and Bokujō Monogatari (Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons) game series creator Yasuhiro Wada's Birthdays the Beginning game to May 9 in North America, and May 12 in Europe. The release was originally slated for March for both territories.

NIS America describes the game:

From the creator of Harvest Moon, Mr. Yasuhiro Wada (TOYBOX Inc.), comes Birthdays the Beginning: a new sandbox game in which players create cube-shaped worlds that give rise to diverse and unique lifeforms. With careful experimentation, players can shape the geography and alter the temperature of each world to create the conditions for life and witness the birth of an entire ecosystem!

NIS America will release the game on the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The Japanese release is slated for January 19 on the PS4.
